The Marketing Lead owns marketing strategy and execution across InvoSpark and its ventures.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can define the marketing direction, translate business priorities into clear plans, and personally lead the work required to deliver them.
The role requires both strategic thinking and strong execution, with involvement across key marketing activities including content, campaigns, events, brand development and external communication, alongside support from marketing and design resources.
You will work directly with leadership, product teams, technical teams and external partners to communicate complex work clearly, strengthen the company's market position and build consistent visibility around its products, projects and achievements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy in alignment with company and venture priorities.
- Translate business objectives into practical marketing plans, campaigns and communication activities.
- Own marketing execution across digital channels, social media, content, events, partnerships, product launches and corporate communication.
- Develop, review and refine key content, including campaigns, announcements, executive communication, website content, presentations and thought-leadership material.
- Strengthen the positioning of InvoSpark and its ventures and maintain a clear, consistent brand voice across all channels.
- Turn technical products, research, project outcomes and company milestones into compelling market-facing narratives.
- Build and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring activities are prioritised and delivered against business objectives.
- Lead event marketing from planning through execution, including messaging, collateral, booth materials, announcements and post-event communication.
- Work closely with designers to guide creative direction and deliver high-quality branded assets.
- Lead marketing support for partnerships, client engagements, proposals and strategic initiatives where required.
- Track marketing performance, evaluate what is working and adjust plans based on evidence and business priorities.
- Manage and mentor Marketing Associates, providing direction, feedback and clear standards while remaining involved in execution.
- Establish practical marketing processes, templates and workflows that allow the function to scale as the company grows.
- Coordinate external agencies, freelancers, media contacts or partners when specialist support is required.
What you will bring
- Strong ability to move between strategy and detailed execution.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with strong Arabic communication capability.
- Strong understanding of positioning, brand strategy, audience development and integrated marketing.
- Ability to simplify technical, research-led or complex work into clear and credible communication.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple marketing channels and initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong creative judgment and the ability to maintain a high standard of quality across content and design.
- Experience working directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead junior team members while remaining accountable for the quality and completion of the work.
- Strong ownership, prioritisation and decision-making skills.
- Comfort operating in an environment where priorities evolve and structures are still being built.
Minimum qualifications
- 8+ years of experience across marketing, communications, brand management, content, growth or related functions.
- Experience owning marketing strategy and leading its execution.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience producing and reviewing high-quality content, campaign material, presentations and external communication.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior marketing team members.
- Experience working across several areas of marketing rather than within one narrow specialisation.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in B2B technology, AI, enterprise software, innovation, applied research or professional services.
- Experience working within an SME, startup, scale-up or similarly hands-on environment.
- Experience supporting product launches, strategic partnerships, events, executive positioning or thought leadership.
- Experience marketing multiple brands, ventures or business lines within one organisation.
- Understanding of enterprise or government audiences in Oman, the wider GCC, and global expansion markets.
